  One of my favorite sites in Tasmania. Huge grass lots, some with concrete pads. We had one night on the riverside at $46/2 people. One on a regular site for $39. You can go see the cows being milked, the baby chicks and the devil's being fed. The devil's were part of a breeding program and are now kept here. There is lots of information and they appear to be well taken care of, lots of room to roam. There are platypus in the river but we didn't see them. The kitchen is amazing, bbq's induction cooktop, oven, microwaves and lots of room to sit. Bathrooms are individual and spacious. Showers are also individual cubes, $1/5 minutes. The hot water just ends so be prepared. Close to town for food and coffee. Really nice friendly atmosphere here, highly recommend.

  This is possibly the best farmstay caravan park we have stayed in for our trip. Huge grassy sites. We were on the creek bank so got to see the Platypus frolic in the water on three of our 5 nights. Amenities and facilities are top class. Farm show is a hit both with the kids and the older kid in all of us. Loved the duck herding. The free roaming pet pig is a novel attraction as well. Nicely located as a base to explore this great region.

  Lovely large grassy camp sites. Beautiful scenic river frontage. Fantastic amenities, friendly owners.

  Loved this campground. Extremely tranquil spot set in the Huon valley with hills all around. They have cows, chickens and Tasmanian devils that they do a little dog and pony show on. Interesting stuff. When we checked in we had a couple of delicious strawberries that are growing right outside the office. Showers and toilets were great. Kitchen was well appointed, large and clean. Nice big TV. They have some platypus in the river but we didn't see any in 2 days we were there. They have a few fire pits and BBQs. We had a fire the one night as the pit was loaded and had a stockpile of wood.
